Thrilled to have spent an amazing week in Ghana, collaborating with a passionate team dedicated to creating machines for recycling and reusing plastic. Together, we explored the transformative power of 3D printing and sustainable practices. From recycling and sorting plastic to cleaning, grinding, and extruding it into wood-like parts, the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the individuals I had the privilege of working with were truly inspiring.
We even designed a compound toilet and brought it to life with 3D printing, showcasing the tangible impact of our collaboration. It was an incredible journey, highlighting the importance of knowledge sharing and hands-on teamwork in driving sustainability forward.
My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the team in Ghana for their warm welcome, unwavering passion, and remarkable ability to create extraordinary things with limited resources. This workshop has left an indelible mark on me, fueling my eagerness to continue exploring the endless possibilities of 3D printing and sustainable solutions.
